Welton CE Academy

At Welton CE we continually strive and motivate our students through a rich and inspiring curriculum.
“We are a forward-thinking school rooted in the community – everyone learning and growing in faith.”
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit”
John 15 v5

Food

Children stay on the premises at lunchtime and eat their hot meal or packed lunch in the Hall in two sittings.

Fresh drinking water is provided at lunchtimes and there is a drinking fountain for access to water at breaktimes.

Parents who think that their children may be eligible for free school meals should contact the School Office.

We provide a mid-morning snack for KS1 as part of the Fruit for Schools initiative.

 Packed lunches

Children who bring in packed lunches are encouraged to bring healthy food, wherever possible.

As a school, we actively encourage our children to adopt a healthy lifestyle. We discourage children from bringing sweets . Children are encouraged to drink water freely throughout the day. Whilst we cannot claim to be a nut-free school, we do promote a nut-free environment and would ask all parents and carers to support us with this, by checking what you are sending in and restricting nut-based products or products that may contain nuts as much as possible.

Fizzy drinks are not allowed in school.
